Our New Building

Thanks to your support, CVRM’s dream has become a reality!

Coachella Valley Rescue Mission’s Capital Campaign, Building New Beginnings, launched in 2007, has given CVRM a fresh start as well. With the Lord’s blessing, our ministry of helping hungry and hurting people with new beginnings has expanded to house 150 men, women and children. Our continued goal for every individual coming to the Mission is to practically share the love of Jesus with food, shelter and a hope for a new beginning. A larger dining room and kitchen will give the space necessary for the ministry of our 2 daily public meals and food boxes that we distribute to families in need.

Our old building was over 75 years old, difficult to maintain and filled to capacity. The property across the street (Manila) is paid in full due to the generosity of valley donors. The campus includes classrooms, counseling rooms, a computer lab and larger kitchen and dining facilities. The Men’s and Women and Family Shelters are also expanded and continue to help those in need with a bed and encouragement to take the steps necessary to end the cycle of homelessness.
