Continuing a community tradition, The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission will hold its annual 4th of July BBQ on Friday July 4, 2008.
Community volunteers will assist with the celebration. A traditional BBQ will be offered from 11:00am – 2:00pm at the mission.
“4th of July is another way we can reach out to this community," said Darla Burkett, Executive Director of the mission.
Coachella Valley Rescue Mission is a 501(c)3 non profit organization that exists to serve those in need by sharing the saving grace of Jesus Christ through the provision of food, shelter, clothing and spiritual recovery, thus improving the quality of their lives.
The Mission is graciously seeking donations of hot dogs, hamburger patties hot dog buns, hamburger buns, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, onions, potato chips, baked beans, canned soda, bottled water and potato salad.
