Hope Begins at the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission

At the Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, we open our doors to those who are homeless, hungry, and hurting—offering more than just shelter and a meal, but hope, dignity, and a path forward.

Each day, we provide nourishing meals, safe refuge, compassionate medical care, recovery support, and outreach services to individuals and families in crisis. By meeting their most urgent needs today, we help restore lives and build the foundation for a brighter, more hopeful tomorrow.

From Homelessness to Hope A Life Transformed at Coachella Valley Rescue Mission

Ashley grew up on the streets, caught in a cycle of addiction and despair, never knowing what safety or love felt like. When she found out she was pregnant, something within her shifted. She knew she had to fight for a better life. At Coachella Valley Rescue Mission, Ashley found more than shelter—she found compassion, guidance, and the unwavering love of God. Today, she’s in college, raising her daughter, and walking boldly into a future filled with hope, healing, and purpose.

Bringing Hope to the Homeless, Hungry, and Hurting Our Programs

We offer two supportive programs—the Gateway Vocational Program and the New Life Program—designed to help men and women overcome life’s challenges through recovery support, counseling, case management, benefit enrollment, and housing assistance in a compassionate, healing environment.

Our street outreach teams meet people where they are—offering compassion, critical resources, and a path forward. We provide housing assessments, medical referrals, and support services to help unsheltered individuals and families break down barriers and move toward safety, stability, and hope.

Our Rapid Rehousing Program swiftly connects homeless individuals and families to permanent housing—offering rental assistance, case management, and support services. CVRM Housing Department assists any resident residing in Riverside County, helping them build stable, hopeful futures beyond streets and shelters.

Recognizing the urgent needs of homeless women and children, Coachella Valley Rescue Mission offers a safe haven with immediate shelter and compassionate support—empowering them to find stability, heal, and rebuild their lives with hope and dignity.

Through resume building, job training, and life-skills development, clients work toward completing our programs and graduating with confidence. When ready, they move on to the next phase—equipped to reenter society with purpose, stability, and a fresh start.
