Darla has been with CVRM since December 2004 and came with extensive experience in non-profit business administration.
Darla states: “The Coachella Valley Rescue Mission brings me joy every day.” “The best part of being employed with the Mission is combining my business knowledge with the ministry of the Mission, and witnessing positive change in so many people.”
Scott has been with CVRM since 2011, and is grateful for the opportunity to serve the Lord through serving the Mission.
“It is a blessing to reach out to the people in our community and share what we do here, and this is the most rewarding career I have ever had. I am looking forward to working with the agencies and businesses in the valley to share the good work of CVRM.”
Angela has been with CVRM since July 2001.
“CVRM has blessed me in so many ways. Working here brings me so much joy to share my testimony and encourage other women who think they can’t, but to let them know, they can do all things through Christ which gives them strength.”
``What we do here is very special. I see such brokenness turn into new lives and promising futures. I am able to share the love of Jesus Christ and give hope to women that came in hopeless. I see mom’s reunited with their children and women finding employment and finally their own homes. What a blessing!``
``I have the great honor of serving the men that come to CVRM. So many come from encampments, streets, Outreach, but all are broken lost and homeless. To witness the transformation of their lives, as they graduated one of our many programs is a true testament to the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Through their victories I am humbled that I was once homeless.``
``I enjoy being a part of CVRM and helping change people’s lives, assisting clients to get to our Programs and any other resources that we may have available. CVRM is truly a blessing to me, it saved my life and I enjoy giving back to the community and sharing my story. I have seen how many of our clients have successfully graduated from our programs and have moved out with a stable job and housing. I look forward to continue assisting our community and helping those in need.``
